This year we cut down our own tree at a local Christmas tree farm. It was a gorgeous sunny day and fun to tromp through the woods with the kids. After lots of "tromping" we found the perfect tree. Every year Jon begs to buy the largest tree available and in the past, we just haven't had the room for a big tree. This year, we have lots of space and Jon was delighted to find a big tree that reached the family room ceiling. And, not only did Jon cut and carry said tree by himself to the car, he also successfully tied the tree down to the top of our car, an impressive feat, that's my man!
