A Beatty Thanksgiving!

Our great friends the Beatty family joined us for a Sonora Thanksgiving this year. Their kids are 6, 5, and 3 and get along so great with our clan. The daddy's took the kids to the snow for the day while Molli and I prepared the meal, which included an infamous Diestel turkey and a new delicious stuffing recipe that includes jalepenos..yum! It was a surprisingly relaxing day and so nice to share with such great friends. We made it a point to get the kids to bed early and were actually able to enjoy some quality adult time in the evening which is a rare treat. We braved another adventure to the snow with the entire crew and found a great sledding hill, made a wonderful snowman (which made an appearance in this year's Christmas picture for both families) and Mr. Matt built a large snow cave that all the kids fit inside of. Great friends, great food, great kids, great fun... So much to be thankful for indeed!
