As a little girl, I never dreamed of my wedding day, never took a pillow case and pretended it was a veil, never put much thought into that particular day. But as a little girl, I did always dream of having a big family. I dreamed of being a stay at home mom, and though I wasn't quite aware of the reality of that job, I feel so blessed to have healthy children and to opportunity to raise them. I remember my 4th grade teacher asked us all what we wanted to be when we grew up, and I said I wanted to be a "homemaker" (much to my grandmother's horror)! I do still desire to return to work part time, hopefully as a nurse, after our kids are a little older, but right now, I do count my blessings and appreciate the unique relationship I have developed with each one of this trio!
