Buzz, art, fingerpainting, and Coach Gary
Caden is the most vibrant, energetic, talkative, exhausting little boy. Yes I know I am a bit biased but this kid really keeps me on my toes and sometimes at night when he is asleep, I just enjoy his still, quiet, calm presence because he is none of those things during the day. He has taken a special liking to Buzz Lightyear and Buzz has accompanied Cade to bed more than a night or two.
Caden continues to thrive at his pre-school. In Petaluma he had a best friend named Jack who went to his school and lived in our neighborhood and the two of them really love each other. They are visibly excited when they see each other and they really get along great. Jack is Caden's first true friend and he learned invaluable lessons about anger, forgiveness and love through this friendship. I really loved Caden's preschool and feel like they were right on track with teaching moral character and biblical principles first and "academics" second.
They also offered a special gymnastics class there and Coach Gary has taught the class for 20+ years. Caden adored Coach Gary, who is wonderful with the kids, and they put on a little performance for the parents which was really fun to watch. After gymnastics, Coach Gary gives everyone a hand stamp, which Caden got SO excited about. Wouldn't it be nice if we were all so easy to please?!
