Addie 17 months

Addie is just precious, if I do say so myself. This little girl is just a blessing from God. She LOVES to sleep and can easily go 12-14 hours in a row and STILL take a 2-3 hour nap. She loves to "nuggle" and her morning routine consists of waking up and having milk and snuggles on the couch. She has a contagious laugh and ridiculous dimples. Thus far she appears to truly be a "girls girl" in that she has a facination with shoes (currently she insists upon wearing her (Caden's old) orange crocs everywhere. She loves to rummage through purses. Her vocabulary and comprehension have exploded in the past few months and though most people don't understand much of what she says, I can get about 90% of it. She says "nice" if Caden is not being nice to her, or if I tell her we are going to play with a friend. She now says "trouble" if Caden is in trouble. She still has a pacifier that we will be working to extinguish in the next few weeks and is very attached to her purple "lovie". She is quite the ham and will say "cheese" with her big toothy grin anytime she sees the camera come out. She loves babies, that is, her dolls, but not so much if mom is holding one :) She is absolutely a daddy's girl and she and Caden have a routine of running down the walk and doing the daddy dance when Jon gets home from work everyday. Sometimes I wish I worked just so I could come home to that kind of welcome! Thus far, she is different than Caden was at this age in that she sleeps more, plays more independently, whines more (is that a girl thing?!), and is much more easy going about being away from mom.
