Sweet Babies!

Caden is finally getting used to the idea that Addie is a permanent part of our family. He is actually very good with her and gives her kisses on her head and toes and tries to hold her hand. He especially loves to hold her on his lap and he slaps his hands on his legs when he wants to hold her. He is quite the helper right now and says "uh oh" when Addison starts crying or when she spits up but his favorite antic is to steal her pacifier!

We have taken several trips to Train Town in Sonoma lately where Caden loves to ride the "choo choo" train and feed the "baaa baaa" sheep. He is still obsessed with lawnmowers and airplanes, aka "dooo dooo's", and he LOVES to follow his daddy around the yard/house fixing things. 

Addison is 5 weeks old now and she has been very kind to me at night! She can sleep for 4-5 hours at a time at night and she has really turned out to be a very mellow baby. She is becoming much more alert, has just started the brief "gas" smiles, and is very tolerable to her brother's "snuggles"! Addie takes a pacifier, but only on her terms, and if she doesn't want it, she spits it out and thrusts her tongue repeatedly so you can't get it back in. Her favorite spot, by far, is snuggling up on a tummy. We have been blessed with lots of visitors lately so both kids have had their share of attention and snuggles!
