The week before Thanksgiving the Motherlode (which is the region in which we currently dwell) was hit with a big winter storm. The storm dumped snow at our house, which is rare (and Jon and kids were absolutely delighted!) and left plenty of snow for playing. My great friend Liz came to visit with her two kids and we rallied up the hill and took the 5 kids out to play in the snow. Needless to say, it was FREEZING, and actually snowing while we were playing outside so our outing ending abruptly and we took the kids our for a fun pizza lunch. Apparently, Addie is not much a fan of the cold....:)
