A Sonora Christmas

We celebrated Christmas in Sonora this year. As our family grows and the kids get older, we really enjoy being home on Christmas day. We cherish that our kids can wake up in their own house and we really enjoy the family traditions we have started. This year, Jon's parents and brother joined us for Christmas. Grandma Lou comes loaded with goodies including a variety of homemade Christmas cookies and treats which often times stand as a substitute for meals during the day! We had the wood-burning fire place going throughout the day and as a special Christmas treat, Papa Joe and Grandma Lou brought a fabulous train that goes around the Christmas tree, and the kids (really the boys...all 3 of them!) were delighted! The kids were also able to decorate a gingerbread house with Papa Joe and Grandma Lou and Carson got LOTS of snuggles. Annie came later on Christmas day and we enjoyed a yummy ham dinner with all the fixings. It was a specia, cozy, holiday season this year and we have so very much to be thankful for!
